As a herbalist I have often tried to "grow my own" and then found more abundance, medicinal weed wise, in the abandoned lot next door. Now I just forage and let the medicine grow itself ;)
however my vegetable green thumb heavily related - either way, having the time to grow or forage and process is something I work hard to ensure and i'm extremely grateful.
