If I can work out how to upload a photo, I'll show you the TARDIS one of my clients built in his garden. All to spec and even with the police notice. My design elements have to start with big blue TARDIS as the focal feature.

And there I was thinking that the BBC memorabilia was the only stuff on show that didn’t have a place in normal people’s gardens. That’s me told! I’m not sure there’s a way to upload photos onto here, sadly - if you hit reply on the email and send it to me on there, I’ll see if I can include it in the next edition!

I love that barrow competition! And I love that array of sink ponds! After reading and enjoying all your Chelsea coverage, it was fun to vicariously tag along for this event. I'm also still hoping there's a Monty selfie on your phone that you're saving for a future post.

No selfie I’m afraid, sorry! But I DO have a photo of a Lexus in a Japanese garden/driveway, from one of the weirder show gardens I’ve come across. I also have photos of some horribly unattractive shimmery reflective steel hangings, some pretty Bougainvillia, and an on-site Wetherspoon pub, which felt particularly out of place at a garden show (though it was busy!).

I've been dreaming of visiting Chelsea, but this sounds way more fun! TARDIS included. :D

The expensive eccentricity (not to mention the postcode) of Chelsea does lend it a sort of glamour, and it is a more polished, shinier experience. But you’d never find a TARDIS at Chelsea - far too silly! So, you’re absolutely right: GW Live is more fun! More relaxed and more relatable too.
